Hello I am going to be having our first child. My husband and I currently do not have dental insurance but I told him to start shopping out some before the baby due so we will have something in place when he needs to use it. My question is would we buy a family dental plan now including our baby which will be born in four more months. Or do we buy a couple plan and add our child when he or she is born? I am not sure if we an add a child during the policy term or if we have to wait for the year to be over. Please advise.
My family needs to have just the regular dental care. We are all up for our check ups but I currently do not get dental insurance with my new job. I need to get my family a dental insurance plan were you are not made to pay up front for the dental services and wait for a refunds back from the insurance company.
My job will no longer be offering us dental insurance effective in another three months. Stating that the cost increase to keep the plan is not worth it. So now I have three months to get a replacement dental insurance plan for my family.
I really do not know what to look for when it comes to buying dental insurance. I always just got whatever my job gave to us and dealt with it. Now that I am out looking for dental insurance on my own I am at loss as to what would be the best plan to get.
Can you give me some helpful advise on what I should know when it comes to buying a family dental insurance plan?
