Affordable dental plans that offer free cleanings. I live in Texas and I am looking for a very affordable dental plan that still offer free X-rays and cleanings. I feel this is all I really ever need and do not want to have to spend a lot of money on a dental insurance plan just to have preventive dental care. That said I do not want to pay any money for preventive dental care since this should be free under any plan though I see that is not the case. Do you have a dental plan that will work for me?
Low Monthly Dental Plan in California that offers free dental cleaning. I just normally have dental cleaning and check up twice a year. I do not have current dental insurance and do not have much money to spend on having dental insurance.
I would like a cheap dental insurance plan that offer free dental check ups and cleanings. My teeth are really healthy and I do not see spending money for a high cost plan when I do not have anything more then the preventive dental care. Please advise if you have any dental insurance plans that can help my need.
Caring for your child teeth and oral health care. I have a 17 month old son and I been taking care of his teeth by brushing them twice a day and making sure he does not have too many sweets. My problem is he is really fussy when it comes to me brushing his teeth. Is there some easier way to make him less fussy? I sometime put off brushing his teeth until the last minute just because it is a hassle I could really use some good advise.
I know people say to brush you teeth twice a day. And that most will say they brush their teeth before the go to sleep and when they wake up. However, that in and out of it self seems stupid to me. You go all day without really having clean teeth and you really only have clean teeth while you are sleeping when no one really cares anyway.
I brush my teeth around 1 pm or after lunch. When I think about it I will also brush before I go to bed just so I do not have morning breath. I have never had a cavity. I also know people that brushes less then four time a week. Where other people I hang with will brush every day three to four times a day. This said non of us have bad teeth. So my question is just how important is brushing when to me it does not seem to matter what you do.
I asking because I have to write a paper for school about dental and oral health habits and how often do people brush their teeth was one of the questions I have to write about. Any replies will e great
All I want to do is to be able to get my two cleaning a year and check up. My teeth are great I never had even one cavity. I would just like to have something in place for just in case and preventive care.
I been reviewing your Careington dental discount plan which off hand looks good to me. Does not cost much and start right away. Is there anything I should do or know before buying. Never had a discount plan so just checking it out. Thanks
I do not want to get dental insurance just for a dental cleaning once a year. I have great teeth and I not one of these people that do not floss and brush my teeth. I would like to go to a cheap or low cost dental office for the basic dental care. Any suggestions as to were I can get cheap dental work done for basic care.
My son is going on six and I would think by now he should be able to brush his own teeth. However when I try and get him to brush his teeth I find him just playing around. I get so bother by it that I wine up brushing his teeth for him.
I know I got to stop doing that but I do not want him to have bad teeth because he is too lazy to brush his teeth correctly. Right now all his teeth are healthy with no cavities however my fear is if I stop brushing his teeth, they will not stay that way.
I am new to having to get my own dental insurance and to tell you the truth I really do not want to spend much time seraching for a dental insurance plan. I just want something cheap that can help me with my dental care.
Since I do not have anything more then the check ups and cleaning I do not need anything really big and expensive. Can you advise what would be your best plan?
I do have dental insurance but wanted to change my dentist so I called 1800dentist line and found a dentist from that. The dentist does not participate in my network I was told when I called them they do not participate in any dental network but they will file any claim to my dental insurance company. I was told all I had to do was pay them in full first and then they would file the claim.
So I had my dental cleaning and X-rays and paid it in full like they told me to do. A month passed and I did not get any of my money back. So I called the dental office and felt like I was was getting a bums rush. I was not happy with the conversation. I told them I want them to file the claim like they said they would so I can get some of my money back.
When another week goes by and nothing was done I called my insurance company and was told there was nothing they can do about it because I am not aloud to go outside of the network and be covered. So even if the dentist I went to filed a claim they would send a rejection letter.
I am so upset the dental office knew what dental insurance I had and made it sound like they could file a claim and I would have some saving that is why I went to them in the first place. When I called all the staffing would say is that they filed the claim like I told them to do. If the insurance company does not accept it that is on me!! I feeling so ripped off. What can I do about this?
Yesterday I cracked my tooth. No part of the tooth broke off but I can see a crack line on the tooth that was not there before. My tooth does not hurt me but I want to have it taken care of ASAP so that it does not brake before seeing a dentist.
My worry is that I do not have dental insurance. Before now I really did not need it since I would just pay my dentist for a cleaning and be done with it. I was told by my friend that I may need a dental crown so that my tooth does not brake a part. I know crown are costly so I would like a low cost dental plan that can at least save me 50 percent or more off the cost of getting a crown. Where would I find a dental insurance that will help me with this need.
My gums have been bleeding when I brush my teeth. I brush two to three times a day depending on what I eat. Lately I have notice that my gums look a litte redder then they use to and they bleeding when I brush. Not a lot but enough for me to notice. Should I see a dentist about this? I worried that something is up.
What do you do when you are on a very low income and you need to have dental work that goes beyond just having a cleaning and X-rays? I have dental insurance but I swear it only covers for cleaning and X-rays. For anything thing else I am lucky if it knocks 20 to 40 dollars off the cost of services render.
I need to have three filling before they turn into something bigger and more expensive. Where can I go to get dental services for less? Need help in Washington. Thanks
I have a family of five. Including my husband I have two girls that are 14 – 16 and one son who is 21. My husband changed jobs and his current job does not offer dental insurance. Since we have to buy our own dental insurance plan I am looking for a dental plan that will accept my son who still lives at home but does not currently go to school.
My son teeth are not bad but like everyone else in our family he still has to see the dentist twice a year. I want him to have some dental coverage. If he does not get a free cleaning and X-rays he will not go to the dentist unless I pay. Do you have a plan that will fit my need for my son?
Hi I was on your site and I live in California. I was looking at the Golden West dental plan. I need help in understanding the coverages. I know I am going to need a cleaning more then likely a deep cleaning since it has been some time since I last saw a dentist.
I also think filling will be necessary too. I been having issues with two of my teeth. They seem to hurt off and on. Any way when I look at the plan there are a Doz or more filling and I am not sure where to find a deep cleaning. That is the same for a crown there is like seven different cost for crowns. How am I to know what one is needed so I can figure out my cost for those services and compare it to your other plans. Please advise
So I have been told by my dentist that I need to have two fillings and a deep cleaning. All this dental work would total out to $434.00. The deep cleanings being the most costly. I like my dentist but she keeps getting more and more expensive for her dental services.
How would I shop out this dental work that I need to have in order to see if I can get a lower rate for those services? I do not want to say the wrong thing so that if I do get a lower rate it is really a lower which will not change when I get there.
Please advise me: I just got an dental insurance plan that is a network provider plan only. At the time when I got it I was fine with having to see their dentist under the plan. For the last two years I was going to this one dentist that now no longer takes the plan. When I call the insurance company they only have one other dentist in my area. So I changed to that dentist as my provider.
I went in today for my cleaning and the place was a mess. It was in a bad area that I really did not like too much. When I went into the dental office, the front office staff were very rude to me. It was like they did not want to be there. The waiting room was messy and needed to be pick up some. Since I was there I had my X-rays and cleaning done. I did like the dentist she was nice but the place it self was not pleasant by any stand point.
Here is my issues. My dental Insurance plans works for me since all I really get done are the two cleaning a year and they are free to me. Since there are no other dentist should I just put up with the way the place and the staff are? Or should I cancel my insurance and look for another dental plan where I can choose my own dentist. That way I can go back to my original dentist I had before he stop using the dental plan I am on.
I am on medicaid and I have been told that I should be able to also get some dental help. I am 76 with all my teeth. I never had a cavity in my life since I have always taken really good care of my teeth. I am not a smoker and in good health for my age. However with all this I can not seem to find a dentist that takes medicaid card and offers me lower rates for their dental services. Where do I find such a dentist that helps out medicaid people since I am on a low income any saving would be nice to have.
I just want to get a dental cleaning is there any dentist that will just give me a free cleaning? I do not have any money but are there dentist that give free services to people in need? If so how do I find them? I do not think a cleaning is much to ask and would like to have one since I have not been to the dentist in over six years. Thanks for any information given to me.
Affordable Dental Plans According to the National Association of Dental Plans, approximately half of the U.S. population does not have an affordable dental plan. The cost for affordable dental insurance can vary. Therefore, it is important to understand all your options in obtaining the most affordable dental plan coverage.
The company where you work may provide the most affordable dental insurance plan options. Dental insurance plans for individual and families are usually an HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) or a PPO (Preferred Provided Organization) and operate much like traditional health insurance organizations. Affordable Dental Plans – HMO Affordable dental insurance plans from an HMO have a limited pool of dentist to select, but it is a more affordable insurance plan.
If you are self employed and looking for a more affordable dental plan, a discount dental plan may be an alternative. Discount dental plans are not dental insurance plans. A discount plan partners with dentists to provide customers with a savings on visits to the dentist office. The downside to discount dental plans is that they are not regulated and you have limited recourse if you experience dental plan problems. Affordable Dental Plans – Where to Buy You can obtain quotes for more affordable dental insurance plans from companies online and through your local insurance agent or broker.
Please keep in mind that there are many web sites who give the appearance of selling dental insurance but instead only offer a dental discount plan which is not insurance. Your dentist may also have affordable dental plan options available to patients. Ask the receptionist if they partner with a dental plan company and see if one might be right for you.
Affordable Dental Plans – Other Alternatives If you belong to a professional association, you might be eligible for a dental insurance or discount dental plan. Many associations partner with a PPO to provide their members with dental plans that offer very comprehensive insurance coverage at more affordable prices. Finally, dental schools may offer affordable dental services. Dental schools seem to be safe, but can be inconvenient and treatment for one problem may have to be addressed in multiple office visits.
