How do I Compare California Dental Coverage’s?
Question: I know I am going to need a cleaning more then likely a deep cleaning since it has been some time since I last saw a dentist. I also think filling will be necessary too. I been having issues with two of my teeth. They seem to hurt off and on. When I look at the plan there are a Doz or more prices for fillings and I am not sure where to find a deep cleanings. That is the same for a crown there is like seven different cost for crowns. How am I to know what one is needed so I can figure out my cost for those services and compare it to the different dental insurance plan benefits.
Reply: In order to know for sure what dental services you will need to have, you would need to speak to a dentist first and get a treatment plan.
However, with that a side. Other way is to take the highest cost dentist service. So if you need a filling look for the most expensive filling code and compare that to the other plans.
If you choose to compare the highest cost codes then if you get to the dentist and it less it only benefit you. Then doing it the other way around and feel like you got stuck paying more then you thought it would be.
