Broken Tooth Pulled Has Not Stop Bleeding

I just had a broken tooth pulled about an hour ago and it will not stop bleeding. I been home now for the last thirty minutes and were the tooth was pulled is still bleeding. What can I do to help stop the bleeding.

Reply: Some oozing of blood may occur the first day after wisdom tooth removal. Try to avoid excessive spitting so that you don’t dislodge the blood clot from the socket. Replace gauze over the extraction site as directed by your dentist or oral surgeon.
