North Carolina Individual Dental Insurance for Children
North Carolina Individual Dental Insurance for Children. Can a minor have their own dental insurance plan without a parent being listed on the plan ? I have to get dental insurance for my ten year old daughter who lives with her mom.
I do not get along with my X wife at all and I only want to get dental insurance for my daughter since I am not required to do so for my X. However she seems to think this can not be done. Can you advise because having to get dental insurance that includes her will piss me off. Thanks.

You may want to review the dental discount plans for something like that since age is not a factor to having the plan. However with many dental insurance plan a minor can not be on the plan by themselves and need to have at least one adult listed. However that does not have to be your X wife that listed you can list your self. You do not have to use the plan but just be listed.
