I live in Florida but I did choose to get a dental discount plan though Dental Save+. I could have gotten dental insurance but I too needed to have a low cost dental plan.

Dental Save+ saved me money and I was able to have want I wanted done without any waiting periods. I needed to have major dental care and did not want to have to wait a year or more with the dental insurance options I was reveiwing.

A discount plan is straight forward all you have to do is pay the discounted cost at the time the dental services are render. You have no claims forms to worry about and you get all dental services done at a discounted savings.

Dental discount plans are good at saving you money because you do get discounted cost for all your dental needs. Also they start within the next business day of your on line enrollment. This is very helpful if you have a dental need that needs to be address ASAP like a toothache.

When thinking about getting a dental discount plan go over the fee schedule know that it is for general dentist that take the plan and specialist will give you a 20 percent discounted saving off their services.

Also for dental services are not listed you will get a 20 percent discounted savings. Make sure you have a dental provider in the plan that you are choosing. In a dental discount plan you need to go to dentist that take the plan.

Call and confirm that the dental office is still accepting the plan in question before buying it. This is a good idea for any dental plan where you need to stay with in their network.
