How long do you need to keep a monthly dental plan.

I see that most all of your plans offer a monthly payment option.   So if I buy one of your plan how long do I have to keep it for?  Can I cancel it any time I want or is there some type of long term commitments?  I really only want a plan short term to fix my current dental needs.

Right now on all our dental insurance plans and dental discount plans you can cancel at any time you want with a 30 day written request to the company.

I can understand just wanting a plan to fix your current dental issues but do think about your long term dental care. Keep in mind one should see the dentist at least twice a year. This is needed just just to have your cleaning but to make sure new dental issues are not starting.

If you want to maintain your oral health I would think about keeping any dental plan you choose to get until you have a replacement dental plan. Going without any thing is not a wise choice.

I have to agree. It is good that you can cancel the dental plans at any time you want but unless you have another plan either though a job or something what is the point.

Many people have all their dental issues because they did not bother going to the dentist like they should. Had they only gone twice a year if not all most of their current teeth problems could have been avoided.

When asked why they did not go to the dentist it always my job did not offer me dental benefits or I did not have dental insurance to make going affordable.

When the fact of the matter is if you look at an Dental HMO plan which is a low cost dental plan sometimes as low as $10 a month many times those types of plans offer free preventive dental care including X-rays and cleanings.

There is no real reason not to have a dental plan of some type in force unless you are not making any money at all, but then normally people that are that bad off are not getting online to surf. Just my thoughts on that.
