California dental, What is the best individual dental insurance plan.I am just looking to get dental insurance for myself since I do not get it offer to me though my job. I live in California and I am thinking of getting a dental HMO insurance plan. Reason being it seem to me that HMO dental insurance plan do not have waiting periods. Well you are right for the most part that our HMO plan listed do not have any waiting periods except for the Golden West 200 does have a six month waiting period for the services that are listed with an * by them. (Mostly crowns, bridges, partials etc)
Other wise the remaining HMO plans have no waiting periods. Picking the best plan is what you feel is best for your own dental needs. There I no one plan really better the next because it more on a person by person need and what one may be looking for in a plan.
You may want to compare the fee schedules listed for the dental services and compare the dentist listed in the plans. Those are the two main things that may make go buy one over the other.
