Dental care, Dental Porcelain Veneers
Two months ago I got porcelain veneers on my front teeth and I am wondering if it is normal for the edges of the veneer to get rough? Towards the bottom they seem a little rough. I do not recall them being like that when I first got them on. Also they are not as shinny as when I first had them put on two months ago. Should I go back to the dentist and complain? Did I get bad Veneers?

I had veneers put on over a year ago and they still look brand new. so what you are describing dose not sound right to me. I would not go to the dentist with an attitude. But I would go to the dentist to find out if there is something wrong. If there is anything wrong with the veneers most dentist will fix the problem free of cost if it was on them and not something you may have done to the veneers.

My wife had porcelain veneers put on and and some problems like you but the dentist fixed the matter. It was a long time ago so I am not sure what happen only know it did get taken care of at the dental office. After all when your are paying 1000 a veneer they are going to take care of any issues.

No does not sound good to me. Veneers are to last long time not just few months. I say go back to the dentist and find out what it wrong.
