Dental help, Sensitive top molar
For the last couple of weeks I have notice that a molar on the top right side of my mouth has become sensitive to hot and cold items. I am not sure if it is a warning sign that I am getting a cavity in that tooth or not.
I do not have insurance and I am not sure if I should get some then go see a dentist about this tooth or not. Maybe I am just making a big deal out of nothing. I could use some advise.

My advise is to get dental insurance even if it is not a cavity issue having dental insurance will help you with your dental cost. You will not lose out on money by being insured first.

Just get a cheap dental insurance plan like and HMO that way at least finding out what your dental problem is would be for free. Then you can address your dental needs and still have the dental insurance to help you with the cost.

If your tooth is hurting then that is a sign that something is wrong. Teeth should not hurt. It sounds like a start of a cavity to me. Something you do not want to sit on for too long so that it would only get bigger.

You are not making it into a big thing. The pain in your tooth is telling you to get help. See a dentist. Getting dental insurance first is a good idea if you want to help off set your dental cost.
But what is most important is having your tooth fixed before it turns into a larger more expensive dental issue.

You can either get a low cost HMO dental insurance plan or a dental discount plan. I suggest that you review your dental insurance and dental plan choices right here on this website.
Why not you are hear already and who does not want to save money off their dental care. You know whether or not it is a cavity issue something is wrong if you are in pain. Seeing a dentist is the only way you know for sure what is going on with your teeth.

It could be just that your tooth enamel is waring thin on that tooth and that is why it is now a little sensitive. I had a tooth that happen on and I just needed to get a dental sealant put on. It cost me very little to have that done and there was no pain. Course I had dental insurance too so I am not sure what it would have cost me without dental insurance
