Family Dental Insurance for the low income family
I have a family of four and although both my wife and I do work we do not get dental insurance. If it was only just for us we may let it go but we do have twins that will be turning two and we want them to see a dentist soon.
We do not have a large imcome and we fall short of really claiming low income for any assitance we may be able to get. So we are stuck in the middle. I am not looking for anything free just affordable. And right now $120.00 a month for just Dental insurance is not affordable. At that cost there is no wonder why our jobs do not offer dental insurance with our medical.
Does anyone know where I can go for a more affordable dental insurance for my family? Do not want to wait to much longer to get something in place for my boys. Thanks.

It seems like you may have been reviewing dental PPOs plans. PPO’s plans can get costly for a family. For a more affordable insurance options try looking for dental HMOs.
Dental HMO insurance plans are normally much more affordable and offer way less limitations. Something to look into at least.

I agree HMOs dental insurance plans are much more affordable but can be hard to find sometimes depending on where you live.
As another low cost dental opption you can look into dental discount plans. I got one for my family though Aetna and have not looked back. I only have to pay $15.00 a month for my family of six.
The saving I get have cut my over all dental cost to around at least 40 – 50 percent. Depending on the dental service you may need but not bad for a $15.00 a month plan.
