Dental care, I am desperate for affordable dental care
I just lost one of my old fillings. I was just eating some chips nothing big when I bit something hard. When I spit it out I notice it was part of my filling. My friend looked and she said it was a back filling that came out.
I got that filling when I was still a kid. I do not have dental insurance and I not sure what to do since right now I have this big hole in my tooth. It is also hurting a little. What should I do to not brake the tooth and how can I get affordable dental care for this? I have little to no money.

Do not eat anything you have to really chew. Soft food only until you have a dentist fix you tooth.
Only a dental discount plan would start with in the next business day. That would help off set or reduce the cost of a new filling. HMO insurance plan are good since they normally do not have long term waiting periods for services render. However at this time of the month you are looking at a Sept 1 effective date which is a long time to wait to fix your tooth.
Another thing you could look into is a dental clinic they are normally less expensive then a general dentist if you are on a low income.
