Dental health care, Bleeding everytime I brush and floss my teeth
Every time I brush and floss my teeth my gum bleeds not just a little either they bleed a lot. Most times I brush twice a day and floss every other. I do not feel that my gums should be bleeding like this. About the only thing I do is regularly drink alcohol but I am not a smoker and I otherwise have a healthy diet.
What should I do? should I see a dentist? Is there something weird going on? Not sure please advise.

Well if you are a big drinker do not forget that alcoholic thins your blood that may be part of your problem. However, It also sounds like you may have some gum disease going on.
The only way to make sure is to talk to a dentist and see what they have to say about your gums. I would not just do nothing about it you do not want to lose your teeth because of gum issues.

I would say you may have gingivitis and or gum disease. Both are easily treated by a dentist so you should just go and see one to confirm if this is the issue or not.
Also it is a good I idea to slow down the drinking. If you do drink a lot it will start to give you more then gum problems. Just a thought

I do not think drinking alcohol a any thing to do with your gums. You also should be flossing daily not just every other day. I floss twice a day just to make sure I have no food bit between my teeth.
I do say if your gums are bleeding like you say that it does not sound right and seeing a dentist about your gum and teeth care is a good idea.
