Dental 4 Less – Toothache Pain
I woke up to a really bad toothache. I am not sure why I have this pain but it is killing me. I called my dentist but the soonest she can get me in is three days from now. What am I to do about the pain I currently having? Tylenol is not really helping me. Is there anything else I can try to do until I get into see my dentist?

- Orajel – Orajel may help to numb the pain you are having
- Rinse with Salt Water: A salt water rinse is an effective first-line treatment. Salt water is a natural disinfectant. Treating a toothache with salt water can also help reduce inflammation and heal any oral wounds.
- Hydrogen peroxide rinse: A hydrogen peroxide rinse that is diluted with water may also help to relieve pain and inflammation. In addition to killing bacteria, hydrogen peroxide can reduce plaque and heal bleeding gums
- Cold Compress: A cold compress may help to relieve any pain you are experiencing, especially if any type of trauma has caused your toothache.
