Oral health care, Red and sore gums
Just recently I notice that my gums have been hurting a bit and them seem redder then they normally do. I brush twice a day and floss almost every day. They do not bleed when I am doing that but they just kinda hurt when I do. I read a little about gum disease but since I am not bleeding I am not sure that is what I have. Can anyone advise?

It could be that your are brushing to hard. Did you get a new toothbrush? Sometime a new brush can be a little hard in the beginning.
However, if you are worried about your gums see your dentist. I would also suggest going to a dentist when you are concern about your dental health.

If you know you have not done anything to your gums. Such as drink something hot that may have made them sore then I to would suggest going to the dentist just to make sure.
Maybe you only have the start of gum disease which in that case the sooner you go to the dentist the better off you will be.

Sometimes when I am not feeling well my gums feel the same way. I just wash my mouth out with Listerine twice a day and my gums are back to normal in just a day or two.
You may want to see if that works for you otherwise I do not see how you will know for sure unless you go to the dentist to confirm if you have any problems with your gums.
