Dental teeth care, How do you know if you have a cavity.
I am not having any teeth pain but I have not been to the dentist in over two years since I got drop from my parents dental insurance policy. I think my teeth are find but my mom has been getting on me to see the dentist saying I could have cavities and not even know it until it is too late. Is that true? Or is there a way for me to know then go to the dentist if needed.

Buddy go to the dentist. Get a low cost dental plan for $10 a month or so and get a check up. Most times just having the X-rays and office visits are free anyway under a HMO dental insurance plan.
Why do you want to mess around with your teeth? Beleive me having cavities and filling or worse root canal and crows will get costly even with having dental insurance that why you want to go to the dentist at least twice a year to hopefully advoid having those issues.

Cavities are funny they can be there but may not hurt you until they become a bigger issue. So yes your mom is right. Going to the dentist at least once every six months for your check up and cleaning are important in order to aviod having larger dental issues.

You can get a low cost dental plan like an HMO if it is about money. Going to the dentist is the only way to tell if you have cavites.
The way you know you have a cavity without going to the dentist is that you are either in pain or you can see the cavity. Either way is not good. It is not about knowing you have a cavity so you go to the dentist. It is about going to the dentist so you can avoid getting a cavity in the first place.
