Dental Insurance, Delta Dental or a Dental Discount Plan
So I have not been to see a dentist since I was in tenth grade. I know that is a very long time but my parents could not afford for me to go. Now that I am a adult I would like to go to the dentist sooner then latter.
I have looked at a Delta Dental plan with a $1000 max limit and would like to know if anyone used Delta Dental do they pay out claims well. Also do you have to pay the dental bill in full and wait for a refund from the company or do you only have to pay you co payment at the time dental services are render?
I also looked at your Careington dental discount plan. I have the same questions. Do you have to pay in full for your dental services or just the prices listed? I do not see a dollar max limit does that mean there is none?

Delta dental insurance is a very good dental insurance plan. They do pay claims without any issue that I heard of. As far as how claims are process will depend on the dentist you go to.
You would want to ask the dental office how they file out claims and whether or not they will make you pay for your dental services in full at the time they are render.
Carington is a discount plan. Therefore unlike Delta dental where you can go to any dentist under a discount plan you must stay within their network of dentist in order for the plan to be valid.
There are no claims to be filed under a discount dental plan. You only have to pay the discounted price at the time the dental services are done to the dentist.
