Dental coverages, How do I file a dental claim

I have Delta Dental PPO insurance plan though work.  I just used it for the first time yesterday.  I got my regular check up and cleaning.   Lucky for me that was all I needed to have done.  Because after having my dental cleaning I was told I needed to pay the bill in full which was $175.00.

I did not really understand this because I told them my insurance plan with Delta Dental states they pay 100% for the services I just had.  I told them I agree that I have $50.00 deductible which I thought they were going to bill me for after my insurance company paid the claim.

I was told it was up to me to file a claim in order to get back my money from Delta Dental.  I though that was part of the dental office job.  Little to say I am upset but glad that I had the $175.00 to pay for the work I had done.  How do I file a claim to Delta Dental.  I never had to do that before but would like to get it to them ASAP so I can get my money back.   Thanks for the help.
